Hello world ;)

Sooo I’m Joy H, the “nJoy” to the “Rush”. I don’t know where to begin telling about myself, so I’ll start from the very beginning, that always seems like a great place.

I was born & raised in North Carolina in a very small, quiet, town called Reidsville. Being that there was hardly ever anything to do, my hobbies consisted of acting like a news reporter to my teddy bears and listening to music every hour on the hour with my family.

 I used to think I was going to grow up to be the next Whitney Houston until I put on a concert for my neighbors and they held their ears for the entire hour I put on my stellar performance. So, I took my musical talents to charging $3 for mixed cd's,I mean what can I say, I grew up in the 2000’s and LimeWire ruled the world.

I grew up, graduated high school, and attended the illustrious North Carolina A&T State University.

I began my college journey as a theater major and decided to switch majors and pursue journalism and mass communications. I mean, I did practice in front of my teddy bears for years for a reason. During the process of trying to be the next TV anchor on CNN, I started to see the other side of the camera. The “behind the scenes”. I fell in love with production and putting pieces of a puzzle together to have a successful production.

So, I turned my car down a different path of my college journey. I planned television shows, and all sorts of skits during school and that’s where I met Kristin M. Rush! Kristin was an athlete, as she would say, I was a “regular” student, rude right? Well, we hardly EVER hung out just because she was always somewhere running. I did a show that sort of mocked the whole SNL and In Living Color theme and she was a part of it, I'm not going to lie, she came through in the clutch!! (That was a hard show to do, we had dancers, dj's, skits, videos, live audiences, websites, and a whole bunch of other stuff, but this is totally off the subject) Anyhow, we became friends, and the rest is what you call history (so cliché, ha!)

Well, we would go on to graduate NCAT, and we both started careers in production. Funny enough, we both started off with video, and both of us ventured into different avenues. Now Kristin, see, she is a marketing guru, and I’m the creative guru, put us together, and you will be nJoy’ing the Rush of whatever Rush you want to enjoy. I really love to plan events, because, hey like I said before, I love putting pieces of puzzles together. I’m not going to lie to you guys, I was just a tad bit nervous to start planning events for the “world” because when I started, it was only for family, and I mean, its family. Enough said right? But, I wanted to take it a step further, and that’s exactly what I did. I prayed, and God lead me to where I am today
